The site lives with us, not with you
The monthly price covers the site sitting on a server in Norway, the security certificate being renewed before it runs out, a backup taken every time you change something, and someone to call when something doesn't work. You need to know neither what a server is nor where it stands.

How it goes
We arrange a talk
Send a line about what the business does, and we'll find a quarter of an hour that suits us both. If there's something we can't deliver, we say so in that conversation — not three weeks into the job.
You send text, images and a logo
If you already have a site, we pull out what's worth keeping. The month starts counting once the material is in — that's the one thing that decides whether we hit the deadline.
We build
You get a link to a test version along the way, not just a finished result at the end. That leaves room to turn before anything is set.
We adjust and publish
Everything you want changed this month is included. At the end you get the login and a walkthrough of how to change text and images yourself.
What we don't deliver
It's cheaper for both of us that you know now. If you need any of this, we say so straight away and point you onwards.
- Online shop and payments no
- Booking and appointment systems no
- Logins for your own customers no
- Advertising and ongoing SEO work no
- Text, images and logo you supply
- The registrar's domain fee you pay
Add-ons
Fixed prices here too. Can be ordered at any time, including long after the site is published.
- English version of the whole site 2,500
- Extra page 1,900
- Form sent from your own email address 1,500
- Google Business Profile set up 1,900
- Moving content from an old site 0
- Copy written for you 1,190/hr
All prices are excluding VAT. The domain is registered in your company's name and paid for by you — an available .no domain usually costs NOK 100–200 a year, and the renewal sits on your card. We set it up and give you notice well before it expires. The monthly price is fixed for the minimum term, and is then adjusted once a year in line with the Norwegian consumer price index.
Reference
A site we've delivered
An IT company in Rogaland stuck with an old Wix site they couldn't change without asking for help.
A new site with an admin panel, Norwegian and English versions, and a contact form that pings their phone. The content from the old site came across with it. The site is live, and the owner makes the changes himself.

Questions
What people tend to ask
Why a 12-month minimum term?
Because NOK 7,500 doesn't cover the work of building the site on its own. The sum works out over the first year. The alternative is a start-up price at double that, which is a worse deal for you if you stay.
Does the monthly price go up?
Not during the minimum term. The 590 stays fixed for all twelve months. After that it's adjusted once a year in line with the Norwegian consumer price index, the same way a rent is. You get notice well before it takes effect.
Who owns the domain, and what does it cost?
The domain is registered in your company's name, not ours, and the bill goes to you. An available .no domain usually costs NOK 100–200 a year, and the renewal sits on your card. We set it up and give you notice well before it expires.
If the name you want is already held by someone who wants to sell it dearly, that's a bill we can't put inside a fixed price. Then we either find another name, or you buy it and we set it up.
What happens to the site if we cancel?
You take all the content with you — text, images and the database — and the domain is in your name the whole way, so you just point it somewhere else. The site itself is an ordinary program that can run anywhere. We don't hold anything back as leverage.
Can we change the text ourselves?
That's the whole point. You log in and change headings, prices, phone numbers, opening hours and images. Changes are visible immediately — no publish button, no queue, no invoice.
What if we don't have text or photos?
Then we write the copy after a conversation with you, at an hourly rate, and we agree a cap in advance so you know where it lands. Photos can be solved with free stock, but your own pictures of you and your work sell better than a stock shot of an anonymous office.
Where is the site hosted?
On a server in Norway. No tracking scripts, no fonts fetched from Google, no third parties collecting anything about your visitors. It also makes the privacy notice shorter.
We already have a site on Wix or Squarespace.
Then we move the content across at no extra cost. Add up what you pay today — the subscription is often higher than 590 a month, and you're still left without anyone who answers when something doesn't work.
Can we see the site before deciding?
Yes. You get a link to a test version along the way, and you don't pay until the site is published and you're happy with it.

Write briefly what the business does, and we'll answer within one working day with what we suggest and where it lands. Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Prefer to write directly: post@fktek.no. If you'd rather talk it over by phone, we'll agree a time — that way the time is set aside for you rather than squeezed between two other things.
